This webinar presents Software Design tools for energy efficiency developed in ASCETiC. They are built on top of PaaS, so it acts as a pre-requisite.
The goal of these tools is to extend the requirements engineering and design phase with the capability to capture and reason on energy as well as other quality aspects in the early steps of the application. This will allow the SaaS architect to take right design decision either statically or to enable adequate runtime behaviour when deployed. The goal is also produce the KPI that will be monitored to check if the platform is behaving properly and to take corrective action in case of deviation.
