ASCETiC Workshop "Tools on Energy Efficient Cloud Computing"

ASCETiC, in conjunction with CLOSER and SMARTGREENS, is organizing its first workshop on Tools for Energy Efficient Cloud Computing.

The objective of this workshop is to bring together researchers, practitioners, system administrators, software developers and other interested in the lates advances of energy efficient clouds.

Our Call for Papers has been published, and some of the topics of interest are:

  • Requirements engineering of energy-aware cloud-based applications

ASCETiC General Assembly took place on 26th to 28th October in Barcelona, hosted by BSC.

During this meeting the ASCETiC team was preparing the presentations and demos for the review meeting.

In parallel there was a whole-day meeting with the External Advisory Board in order to show them the latest achievements of the project and collect their impressions.

Cloud Forward Conference 2015

Inter-cloud Challenges, Expectations and Issues presents there the enroled projects and discuss about next steps. ASCETiC, as cluster coordinator, is moderating these sessions.
