The 4th International Conference on Cloud Computing and Services Science, CLOSER 2014, will be held in conjunction with CSDEU 2014, SMARTGREENS 2014 and WEBIST 2014 from April 3rd to 5th in Barcelona, Spain.
This conference is foused on Cloud Computing, regarding different areas such as infrastructure, operations and available services through the global network.
The Future Internet Assembly (FIA) 2014 takes place in Athens from 17th to 20th of March, looking at future by leveraging Cloud computing as a key enabling technology.
As detailed on the FIA website: "This year FIA focuses on reshaping the Future Internet infrastructure for innovation, and more specifically, on the formulation of the new Internet technological landscape based on network/cloud integration and virtualisation SDN/NFV and innovative software, services and cloud technologies that enable application innovation."
The CloudWatch Concertation Meeting - E2 Software and Services, Cloud Computing takes place from Wednesday 12th to Thursday 13th on Brussels, Belgium. The aim of this meeting is to promote collaboration among projects to:
- Learn about active Unit E2 projects
- Network and discover partners
- Present ideas
- Undertand changes from FP7 to Horizon2020.
The ASCETiC project will be there to be presented within the Cloud Computing breakout.
FOSDEM, a 2-day event organised by volunteers to promote the widespread use of Open Source software takes places 1 and 2 February in Brussels.
This conferences is recognised as the best Open Source conference in Europe, where participation and attendance is totally free, offering a common place for developers and communities to meet, discuss and showcase projects.
The ASCETiC project kick-off meeting took place on 15-17 October 2013 at the Atos premises, Barcelona, Spain.
Representatives of all members of the consortium where there to discuss and define project's steps.
